Bigboy Mlangeni is behind the production of this new hit album. Khanyisa flew up to Johannesburg for two weeks for the recording. Having many years experience in the industry, recording went smoothly and efficiently. Khanyisa, her brother and Bigboy worked together on writing and choosing the songs for the album, ensuring a flowing and exciting album.
One such choice is track two, Blessed Assurance. It is a new take on the much loved words “This is my story, this is my song, praising my Saviour, all the day long”.
Igazi Lemvana is a sensuous track on the album, which is about the blood of Jesus, through which we are all saved, no matter what difficulties we face.
Pursuing a solo career, apart from Youth With Mission is seen to Khanyisa as a natural development of her career. She believes that her fans understand this and that this is why her shift away from Youth With Mission has been so positively received.
Her brave leap into a solo career was, at first, a scary experience.
